ETHEL ANIMA
Ethel was born in Minsk, Belarus. Now she lives in Krakow, Poland.
She has been dancing since childhood.
In search of her dance style, she was engaged in ballroom, pop and folk dances, as well as classical belly dance. However, in 2009 she discovered tribal dance.
Ethel is a famous performer and teacher of tribal fusion dance. Choreographer and costume designer.
She specializes in Dark/Gothic Tribal Fusion style. She also dances American Tribal Style. Ethel created her own tribal fusion vocabulary based on tribal fusion combinations and movements - AnimA Shadows vocabulary.
Ethel is the creator of vivid emotional images and spectacular performances.
She is the leader and mastermind of the Tribal Dance Studio “AnimA”, which has existed since 2011 in Belarus, and from 2022 in Poland.
Ethel is organizer of the International Tribal Festival.
She is a participant of international dance projects and collaborations.
Never stops at what has been achieved. Since the beginning of her journey into the world of tribal dance, she has attended a lot of workshops from amazing dancers.
Each performance created by Ethel carries an idea or a story that is emphasized by vivid images, thought out to the smallest detail.
Her images are a grim universe filled with demons, vampires and fairies that fascinate, capture and amaze. In her performances, Ethel always conveys deep feelings and emotions. The dark side that is in all of us...

TRIBAL DANCE
Tribal dance is a modern ethnic dance.
A symbiosis of many dance styles, so incredibly and succinctly combined with each other.
The prototypes of the movements are taken from the dances of various cultures. The main components are: flamenco, Arabic and Indian dance.
Ethel teaches live classes in Krakow. You can also join classes online.
Ethel teaches workshops in other cities and countries. She is an international teacher who loves to share her knowledge with dancers from all over the world.
Ethel is also available for private lessons.
Ethel brings a dark vibe and vision through her classes and performances. She tells you dark fairytales with a plenty of drama and vivid magical characters.
The main principle in teaching for her is to always remain open to new knowledge and share your experience with students.
Based on the large number of workshops and classes that Ethel attended, she created her own vision of the tribal fusion style with a distinctively recognizable style and atmosphere. Connoisseurs of dark aesthetics will be delighted.
